Well at least it made a gorgeous black and white! Two of mine always want to make stupid faces and it annoys the poop out of me.
I had it in color first, but I think the B&W does work better. And Joey never lets me take pix of him, always turning away or looking down at his feet, sigh.
I don’t have a single one where my kids are looking at me for this reason. I am stealthy with the long lens, lol.

Total spur of the moment photo–I was on my way out the door, and liked how the light was hitting my daughter reading in her chair. The hands were all her idea.

I get that most of the time from my older son! My little guy practically begs me to take his picture most of the time (I’m sure that will change someday). I LOVE the tones of this photo – I have been really drawn to b&w for a while now, especially low light and low key images – this is wonderful!!
I’m just beginning to dabble in B&W, trying to find the shadows and light that work well together. Looking forward to winter when I think I’ll have better luck with contrast. Glad you like this! Have a happy day!
